Role Overview
The Site Mechanical Engineer will oversee daily mechanical site activities, ensure correct installation as per approved drawings, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with UAE authority standards. The role requires hands‑on technical expertise and solid experience in UAE MEP project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical installation works (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire‑fighting).
- Review drawings, technical specifications, and ensure correct implementation on site.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (DM, DCD, ADDC, SEWA).
- Conduct site inspections, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
- Maintain daily site reports and update senior engineers on progress.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and company safety protocols.
Requirements
- Mandatory UAE experience in MEP contracting or construction.
- Minimum 4–7 years of mechanical site engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire‑fighting systems.
- Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple activities.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and technical skills.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
