Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical design reviews, site execution, coordination with consultants and authorities, and ensure compliance with UAE electrical standards. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering medium to large‑scale MEP projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering activities across design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Review electrical drawings, load schedules, and technical submittals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, DM).
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Prepare engineering reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Support project planning, material approvals, and procurement processes.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and quality control procedures.
Requirements
- Mandatory UAE experience in MEP contracting or construction.
- Minimum 8–12 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, LV/MV distribution, and authority requirements.
- Proven experience in managing electrical works for medium to large‑scale projects.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering; UAE authority approvals are an advantage.
