Role Overview
The MEP Planning Engineer will develop project schedules, monitor progress, coordinate with engineering and site teams, and ensure timely delivery of all MEP activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding of MEP systems, and proven experience in UAE construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate planning activities with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Monitor progress of MEP works and identify delays or risks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
- Review drawings, material delivery schedules, and manpower allocation.
- Support project planning, forecasting, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements and project specifications.
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights.
Requirements
- Mandatory UAE experience in MEP contracting or construction.
- Minimum 5–10 years of planning experience in MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction workflows.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6; MS Project experience is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
