Role Overview
The MEP Coordinator will ensure seamless coordination between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams, manage drawings and technical submissions, and support site execution in compliance with UAE authority standards. The role requires strong technical understanding and proven experience in UAE MEP project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP activities between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.
- Review drawings, technical specifications, and ensure proper implementation.
- Manage coordination drawings and resolve clashes with design teams.
- Support project managers and site teams in daily execution.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, DM).
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of MEP works.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and technical records.
Requirements
- Mandatory UAE experience in MEP contracting or construction.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in MEP coordination.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire‑fighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Engineering diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
