ABOUT THE ROLE
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations for the Syrian entity – ensuring fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and delivering clear financial insight to support strategic decision-making
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and controls
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide financial analysis for planning
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and coordinate external audits
- Monitor project costs and implement corrective actions to protect margins
- Manage banking relationships, foreign exchange, and liquidity
- Supervise AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions
- Develop and enforce robust internal financial controls
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years in finance, 4+ years in a senior finance role
- Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting; CPA, ACCA, or CMA qualification required
- Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based industries
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Syrian accounting and tax regulations
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Fluent in Arabic; strong English required for GCC reporting
