Triovate HR Services is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading organization in Syria, for a highly skilled Finance Manager with mandatory experience in currency‑exchange companies. This role requires strong financial leadership, deep understanding of FX operations, and the ability to manage complex financial processes within a regulated environment.

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, reporting, treasury activities, and exchange operations. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in currency‑exchange workflows, compliance procedures, reconciliation, and financial controls, ensuring accuracy and operational integrity across all financial functions.

They demonstrate strong financial acumen, accuracy, and strategic thinking, with the ability to manage complex currency‑related operations and ensure compliance within a fast‑moving, regulated sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily financial operations and reporting
• Oversee exchange transactions, currency flows, and reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with exchange regulations and internal financial policies
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and performance reports
• Manage treasury activities, cash flow, and liquidity planning
• Monitor market trends, exchange rates, and financial risks
• Implement and strengthen internal controls and audit readiness
• Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA preferred)
• Mandatory previous experience working within currency‑exchange companies, with solid exposure to FX operations, compliance, and financial reconciliation
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and MS Excel
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
