ABOUT THE ROLE
A great opportunity for a motivated finance professional to grow within a large-scale construction environment – supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations and record-keeping
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and receipts; manage AP and AR ledgers
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Review and process employee expense claims per company policy
- Assist in month-end journal entries and closing procedures
- Support preparation of VAT returns, tax schedules, and statutory filings
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits
- Prepare routine financial reports and aging analyses as required
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Fluent in Arabic; English is an advantage
